Recycling old printer cartridges has become a very popular pastime over the last few years with a number of printer cartridge recycling companies appearing on the scene. The ability to either purchase ink, which you can then use to fill up your old cartridge, or send off your old cartridge and receive a full recycled printer cartridge, has caught the eye of many computer users. This is not only very environmentally friendly but also significantly cheaper in the short, medium and longer term.
When you consider the millions and millions of printer cartridges used each year, if even a fraction of these were recycled the potential savings not only to be environment but to consumers is enormous. It is a very simple process and there is significant competition in the market to ensure that prices remain low and customer service and customer assistance levels remain very high. Do not just assume that because you are refilling your old printer cartridges that the quality of print will be affected, as many of those who recycle their printer cartridges will argue there is little difference in quality.
