The new Toyota Prius is one of the new environmentally friendly cars to hit the market, offering a cooling system which is powered solely by solar energy and effectively harnesses the power of the sun to cool down your car. Recycled heat energy is one of the more productive and lucrative areas of the recycling market and one which likes of Toyota have been very quick to grasp.

The fact that you’re unlikely to require the in car cooling system unless the weather outside is warm means that the system will only be used when there is sufficient heat energy to make the temperature in the car rise and also power the solar panels. Energy-efficient cars are the way forward as consumers look to save more and more money and assist the environment where possible. Recycling alternative forms of energy seems to be the in-trend of the moment and the more consumers demand these new systems the cheaper they’ll become and the more widespread.

We are also seeing the introduction of energy-efficient headlights which can reduce energy consumption by 17% thereby ensuring that your lightbulbs last longer and reducing the amount of energy required to manufacture them.
