If you have any very old comics there could be a number of potential buyers out there who would pay good money. Using sites such as eBay and other online auction sites you could raise significant money for yourself and also clear significant space in your house, garage or old room.
Old magazines
While there is unlikely to be a significant market for people looking to buy old magazines they can be used and recycled as paper fire bricks, insulation and packaging for fragile goods which you may be sending by post. Old magazines will also come in useful when you are moving home and looking to pack your goods into removal creates while at the same time looking to reduce the chance of breakages.
These are just a couple of ideas which could actually prove very useful and in the case of old comics potentially lucrative.
