Recycling your rubbish in the attic

When was the last time you checked out your attic to see what was lying around? What rubbish would you expect to find next time you look? What will you do with that rubbish?

Up and down the UK there are homes with attics and lofts which are literally brimful with the old clothes, old electronic equipment and other items which have probably never been used for years. However, next time you decide to clean your attic and throw your rubbish into the bin remember that some of this rubbish could well be recycled and reused by people connected with charitable work.

Just because one of your old shirts does not fit you does not mean it will not fit somebody else, just because your shoes are too small does not mean they cannot be reused and there are many other ways in which you can allow other people to make use of your “rubbish”. There are very few things which cannot be recycled, the parts from electronic equipment, clothes, shoes and many other items which will be greatly received down at your local charity shop.

Think before you bin it as somebody else may want to win it!
