Simple recycling ideas which will save you money
There are many items and products which you can recycle and reuse even if the vast majority of the UK population do not do so as yet. However, we hereby enclose a number of recycling ideas for you to consider:-
At Christmas time or birthdays why not send an e-card rather than a paper card and help the environment and energy use. There are many free sites available on the Internet which will allow you to send impressive and personalised e-cards to your friends and family.
Use rechargeable batteries where possible because the process of recharging a battery uses just a fraction of the energy required to create and charge a new battery, and there are also significant cost savings to be had.
Use low-energy light bulbs where possible because not only do they use less energy but they last up to 8 times longer than your traditional lightbulb. While initially the low-energy lightbulb technology in the UK was in reality substandard, compared to the traditional lightbulb, this is not the case today.
Stop junk mail! Junk mail is one of the biggest wastes of money and energy in the world today although if you have had enough why not sign up with the Mailing Preference Service at www.mpsonline.org.uk who will ensure that you no longer receive junk mail in the future.
We will be bringing you more and more recycling ideas in the days, weeks, months and years ahead so why not bookmark us and visit us again.
