Tesco recycling Green Clubcard points

Recycling at Tesco’s has never been easier and now the U.K.’s largest supermarket chain is offering Tesco Green Clubcard points for those looking to recycle a variety of materials. Whether it is something as simple as reusing your plastic shopping bag, recycling used inkjet cartridges or perhaps recycling your old mobile phone, there are Green Clubcard points available for everybody.

Green Clubcard points are identical to more traditional Tesco Clubcard points and you can spend them as you wish. The Tesco shopping bag recycling scheme has directly reduced the number of plastic shopping bags in circulation by over 3 billion since the scheme was introduced. When you also consider there are over 10,000 tonnes of old mobile phones lying around in homes up and down the country and in excess of 30 million inkjet cartridges thrown away every year there are substantial savings to be made.
